Crystal Serenity tells the story of a ship given a second life. Built in 2003 by Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, France, this 68,870-gross-ton vessel spent two decades in service before undergoing one of the luxury cruise industry's most substantial refurbishments. After the former Crystal Cruises ceased operations in 2022, the ship was acquired by A&K Travel Group and given a complete overhaul at Fincantieri's yards in Trieste.
